1994 the primary founders and principals of
Innovative Network Systems,
Barry Loudermilk and
Michael
McDorman, both former Air Force Systems
Engineers and corporate information systems
managers,
decided to pool their knowledge, expertise and resources to form
Innovative Network Systems.
Since incorporating in 1995, INSI has built
a strong reputation for providing
responsive, affordable and professional IT

1990's A Trusted Leader
in
Secure Campus Wide Networks
 In the 1990's Innovative Network
Systems, Inc. partnered with Intel
Corporation to integrate the emerging
Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) technology
into municipal wide and campus wide
networks. INSI became one of the largest
resellers of Intel Network equipment in the
Southeastern United states with numerous
city-wide network installations.
Since then INSI has become a Trusted Leader
in the managed network services and
municipal data network consulting industry.
INSI
continues to work with with municipalities
and businesses throughout the
Eastern United States
to design and implement and manage cost
effective data networks |

2000 - Industrial and Manufacturing
Networks
As the nation
celebrated the entry into the 21st century,
INSI continued to integrate emerging
technologies into a broader market. Since
the year 2000 INSI has worked with
manufacturers and industries to integrate
technologies into harsh environments of
manufacturing plants and outdoor
applications.
INSI has completed
numerous network projects with manufacturers
across the United States. From Manhattan
Island to the Great Lakes Region and down to
coast of Louisiana INSI has installed miles
of fiber optic and copper network cables and
hundreds of network communications devices
in a variety of manufacturing and
professional businesses.

Today - Managed
Information Technology Service (MITS)
In 2008 INSI
continued to implement emerging technologies
to support its growing customer base by
launching a comprehensive remote network
management service called MITS. Through MITS
small and medium size businesses reap the
benefits of having a virtual dedicated IT
staff at its disposal.
INSI has a rich history of providing its
customers state-of-the-art products and
services that grow as the customers business
needs grow.

2011 - Awarded APEX Certification
In 2007, INSI expanded its
product and service offerings to include unified
business communications systems. The emergence
of Voice over IP (VoIP) is bringing affordable
voice and data collaboration technologies to
medium and small size businesses.
In 2011, Allworx Corporation, a manufacturer of
VoIP systems, named INSI as an Authorized
Partner of Excellence (APEX). |
